‘6 MISCARRIAGES’ WODE MAYA AND WIFE MISS TRUDY ANNOUNCE PREGNANCY 

Celebrated Ghanaian YouTuber, Wode Maya, and his Kenyan wife, Miss Trudy, have shared news with their global audience: the couple is expecting their first child after a long and challenging journey with infertility and pregnancy loss.

In an online post, the couple opened up about their path to parenthood, which began with a disheartening diagnosis in September 2021 when they were told they could not have children. Undeterred in their commitment,Wode proposed in December 2021, and the couple married in September 2022 a date intentionally chosen as it also marked the anniversary of Miss Trudy’s mother’s passing13 years prior.

Their marriage was tested through immense hardship as they endured six heartbreaking miscarriages in the subsequent years. In 2025, their perseverance was rewarded as they received the confirmation of a new pregnancy.

“We want to share our story not just as our own, but as a beacon for anyone walking a similar path,” said Wode.  “Through every challenge, every loss, and every tear, our journey has been a testimony of resilience, faith, and hope. We are overwhelmed with gratitude.”

The couple’s announcement has been met with massive support from their millions of followers across Africa and the diaspora, who have followed their personal and professional lives.
