BOBI WINE’S WIFE RECOVERING AFTER SOLDIERS RAID HIS HOME
Uganda’s National Unity Platform (NUP) leader Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu, popularly known as Bobi Wine, says hundreds of soldiers raided his house at night, held his wife, Barbie at gunpoint and asked her where he was.
According to the politician, his wife is now recovering from the shock. “Museveni’s criminal son is still looking for me and issuing threats to harm me. Thankfully, our people are still keeping me safe. My wife is still recovering from the trauma of an overnight raid and assault.”
Bobi also said his home is still surrounded by soldiers. He connected the attack to the last presidential election. He claims the government shut down the internet and used force to win. “We remain hopeful that the people of Uganda will have the last laugh. ‘Deep in my heart, I do believe, we shall overcome some day.’”
The NUP party leader also stated that thousands of our people have been violently arrested and detained.
