Media personality Grace Msalame has opened about her difficult past relationship with Paul Ndichu, the father of her twin daughters

Speaking in an interview with Bishop Kathy Kiuna, she explained that even during a challenging time in her life, she always had a strong faith in God. At age 23, she joined a prayer program at Mavuno Church, led by Simon Mbevi. There, she studied part of the epistles that inspired her. She even said, “My husband will have the same name as the writer,” because she admired his work so much.

Soon after finishing the program, she met a man with that very name. “I thought it was a sign from God,” she said. “I believed my prayer was answered quickly.” But the relationship soon became toxic. “ I got into a very toxic relationship. You learn the truth fast,Msalame shared.

She explained that others saw the warning signs before she did. “My mom saw them. My dad did not support the relationship. That’s when I decided to move out.” During that time,  they felt she had changed. “I became a different person. That’s a sign something is wrong, even if you don’t see it.” After leaving, things ended badly with her partner Finally my eyes were opened and because I’d moved out, it ended badly.” Msalame just wanted to return home. “I wanted to feel safe, and I wanted my dad,” she said.

Sadly, soon after the break up, her father passed away. “It was one thing after another,” she recalled. During her grief, her ex reached out to offer condolences. “Grief can be dangerous. How you handle pain matters. Take it to God. Let Him heal your heart.”

It was during this time of loss that she became pregnant. “When he reached out, that’s when I became a mother,” she said. “I think I wanted my father back. When I found out I was expecting, I felt like my dad had returned to me.” She was surprised to learn she was carrying twins, she felt she was having boys“For me, abortion was never a choice,” she stated.
