NANA OWITI HANGS OUT WITH FIFA PRESIDENT GIANNI INFANTINO

Journalist and influencer Nana Owiti is celebrating a milestone moment following exclusive invitations to the prestigious CAF Club events during the recent Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) closing ceremonies. 

Owiti’s attendance, earned through her exemplary work with the @destination2morocco initiative, provided a unique platform for her on the world’s most influential football stages. The highlight of the engagements was a personal, light-hearted interaction with FIFA President Gianni Infantino.

“We had a chat, joked, he said I was funny and called me the BEST and I made sure to market my country,” Owiti shared on social media. She described the surreal experience as one worthy of being “hung in the Louvre.”

Owiti seized a the opportunity with Confederation of African Football (CAF) President Dr. Patrice Motsepe. In what she termed “three legendary minutes,” she presented a compelling pitch for East Africa, and specifically Kenya, to host a future AFCON tournament.

“The room was unreal, pure greatness,” Owiti stated, capturing the gravity of the moment. “God’s amazing,” she concluded, reflecting on the series of unprecedented meetings.
