P-UNIT’S BONEYE CELEBRATES DAUGHTER GATHONI’S 21ST BIRTHDAY 

Kenyan musician and P-Unit member Boneye marked a major family milestone this week, celebrating his daughter Gathoni’s 21st birthday in an outpouring of love and pride shared on social media.

Sharing a series of photos from the celebration, the doting father penned a message reflecting on the journey from fatherhood to friendship. “Watching our girl turn 21 is a trip,” he wrote. “I’m so grateful to have traveled this road from diapers to drinks with my best friend.”

In his tribute, Boneye acknowledged his role in his Gen Z daughter’s life, quoting her perspective: “To a Gen Z queen, who thinks I am ‘main character’ (on my good days)…” He went on to express how the experience of raising her has been his greatest teacher, stating, “You’ve taught me more about authenticity and self-love than any ‘life lesson’ book ever could, from the toddler tantrums to the 21-year-old toasts.“
