POOL PLAYER PENINAH NJOKI SEEKS FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO COMPETE IN SOUTH AFRICA
Kenya’s elite cue sports athlete, Peninah Njoki, has issued a rallying call for public and corporate support to enable her historic participation in the upcoming All Africa Cue Sport Championships.
The prestigious tournament is scheduled to take place in Durban, South Africa, from the 2nd to the 7th of February 2026. Njoki, who will be competing in the Blackball Championship discipline, earned a direct invitation to the continental showdown.
The journey, however, hangs on securing the necessary financial resources for travel, accommodation, and tournament fees. In her appeal, the athlete said, “Your support can help me make history and proudly raise the Kenyan flag on the international stage,” Njoki stated. “Great spaces were made with me in mind. Join me in making this beautiful journey a reality,” she added.
