‘STORY YA KUHUG MITI TUMEISTRETCH SANA’ TOM DAKTARI REACTS

Popular comedianTom Daktari has humorously questioned the extremes of endurance challenges following the recent collapse of environmental activist James Irungu, who was attempting an 80-hour tree-hugging marathon in Murang’a.

In his characteristic comedic style, Daktari commented on the trend, stating, “Hii story ya kuhug miti ni kama tumeistretch a bit, unataka kuniambia mtu anakaa siku tatu kama anashikilia miti bila kuguza simu?- hapo ndio imenitoa by the way hio kitu si wezi. Tumehug sana😂but iko tu sawa.”

His remarks come after James Irungu, 30, was rushed to hospital on January 8, following kidney failure just one hour before completing his 80-hour challenge. Medics have issued a public caution against attempting such feats without prior medical clearance.

Truphena Muthoni set a Guinness World Record by hugging a tree for 48 hours, has brought significant attention to environmental advocacy through her achievements.
