ACTOR SAMUEL L JACKSON VISITS RETETI ELEPHANT SANCTUARY IN SAMBURU

Renowned American actor and producer Samuel L. Jackson was recently spotted immersing himself in the breathtaking landscape and wildlife of northern Kenya, with a special visit to the Reteti Elephant Sanctuary. 

The global superstar shared his experience with his millions of followers via Instagram, posting a photograph of himself observing a herd of elephants with the caption, “Me & da herd!”

The visit highlights the growing international prominence of Reteti, the first community-owned and run elephant sanctuary in Africa. Located in the Namunyak Wildlife Conservancy in Samburu County, Reteti represents a groundbreaking model in conservation, where local communities are directly involved in protecting and rehabilitating orphaned and abandoned elephant calves with the goal of returning them to the wild.
