Media personality Betty Kyallo has opened up about her romance with boyfriend Charlie, revealing that their love story began in the most modern of ways: a direct message (DM). 

Reflecting on their journey, Kyallo offered a piece of advice to her followers about keeping an open mind in the digital age. Speaking about how their relationship blossomed, she stated, “Don’t ignore that DM. Even this started with Netflix and chill.” 

The revelation comes as the couple celebrates the exciting news that they are expecting their first child together. Kyallo made the announcement on, December 19, sharing a series of stunning maternity photos featuring Charlie with the heartfelt caption, “We’ve been cooking something oh so sweet. God Is The Greatest.“

Kyallo first introduced Charlie to the public in mid-2023, and the pair have since become a fixture on social media, regularly sharing affectionate moments with their followers. In November 2025, the couple marked their second anniversary together, playfully hinting at their desires to expand their family.

The pregnancy announcement marks a chapter for Kyallo, who has navigated her personal life with grace in the public eye. She is the mother of a daughter, Ivanna, from her previous marriage to journalist Dennis Okari, and continues to co-parent amicably.
