INSIDE FOI WAMBUI’S SURPRISE ENGAGEMENT

Actress Foi Wambui has taken to social media to share the exciting news of her engagement, revealing that she returned from the coast as a fiancée after a surprise proposal from her partner.

In a creative announcement, Wambui shared a reel documenting her journey leading up to the big moment, explaining that she had been recording two different versions of the video for weeks, one in case the proposal happened soon, and another in case it took longer.

“Well, technically, I didn’t know when it was going to happen,” she shared. “So from when I started recording, I recorded 2 different versions every week, 1 version (this one) in case the weeks are few, and a different version in case the weeks are many.”

The actress, known for her compelling performances on screen, admitted she had no idea she would return from the coast with a ring on her finger. “Let me tell you, I had no idea in the world that I would be going to Coast as a girlfriend and coming back as a fiancée. Ah! My man really did a big one on this and I’m so overwhelmed with love and gratitude. Nilipatikana!” she wrote.

Opening her heart to fans, Wambui described her love story as one “intentionally authored by God.” “Honestly, all glory to God, because our love story was intentionally authored by God, the best romance story writer that will ever exist,” she continued. “I now know without any shadow of doubt, that God hears, God sees us, God knows us, God cares about every part of our lives, and God loves us deeply.”

She opened her announcement with a scripture from James 1:17: “Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.”
