LYDIA WANJIRU TALKS BANKROLLING EX-BOYFRIEND’S FAMILY FOR YEARS

Content creator Lydia Wanjiru has shared an account of financial sacrifice in a past relationship only to feel unappreciated and taken for granted.

In an unfiltered post that has since gone viral, Wanjiru revealed that she paid a full year’s high school fees for her ex-boyfriend’s sister and purchased a water tank for his mother, which she personally installed. “When I remember someone’s mother is using a tank I bought with my money, and I even mixed concrete for the platform my knees go weak.” She wrote.

Wanjiru also disclosed that she covered the sister’s school fees for an entire academic year, all while being made to feel intellectually inadequate.”I paid her sister’s full-year high school fees, yet I was constantly told I don’t know English.”

Her frustration, however, extends beyond the financial loss. “How are you that comfortable when a lady is providing for you and your other children just because she’s dating your son? Shouldn’t you be teaching your son how to be a provider? Then they call you directly to tell you their problems instead of calling their son?“

Adding, “God, give love to other people. I want money.“
