MUSICIAN JIMMY GAIT BRUTALLY ATTACKED BY THUGS, SURVIVES ORDEAL 

Kenyan gospel musician Jimmy Gait is lucky to be alive after being brutally attacked by thugs on Sunday morning, February 22, 2026. The attack left the artist injured and bleeding, with his phone stolen during the incident.

In a distressing video shared online, a bloodied Jimmy appealed for prayers as he documented his injuries. “I was attacked by thugs. They’ve hurt me so badly. You can see I’m full of blood all over. They’ve cut my finger. My hands have cuts. It’s only by God’s grace I have survived,” he said in the video. “Please pray for me. Thank God that I’m alive. I just saw death with my own eyes.”

The incident occurred around 10 a.m. in the Runda area. According to reports, the assailants made off with his phone, leaving him severely injured and in need of urgent medical attention. Fellow gospel artist DJ Mo shared the distressing footage on his social media platforms, calling on fans and well-wishers to rally in prayer.

“Very sad manze. Guys let’s pray for @jimmygaitofficial. He was brutally attacked by thugs this morning Sunday 22nd 2026 at around 10am around Runda. His phone was taken away. Be aware of any exploitation because they took his phone,” DJ Mo wrote.

The gospel musician is currently receiving treatment at St. Teresa Thindigua Hospital.
