SH40,000 VVIP TICKETS FOR KING KAKA’S ALBUM LAUNCH ARE NEARLY SOLD OUT
Renowned Kenyan rapper, King Kaka has announced that the premium Sh40,000 VVIP tickets for his upcoming album launch are almost sold out before the official event poster has even been released.
The launch event for his highly anticipated project, “The Year of the Pen,” is set for March 27. In a revelation, King Kaka shared his initial hesitation and astonishment at the market’s response to the pricing. “What would it take an artist to charge 40,000? That’s a question I asked myself the other day,” King Kaka reflected. “Is it because we started music and we decided, to charge 40,000 is too expensive?”
He detailed the swift sell-out, stating, “When we were deciding the prices… I told my team to charge people 40,000 for VVIP. Before even we finished the poster, I called a few friends of mine… before you know it, the VVIP is almost sold out with no poster and I’m so happy, we have not even decided on a ticketing company.”
King Kaka added, “Do not look down on Kenyans; they have money.” The event, presented by The Coliseum, promises an exclusive experience befitting its VVIP tag. “Those who have come to my show with a live band know,” he said.
