ALVAN GATITU ANNOUNCES PASSING OF MOTHER AGNES

Radio presenter and content creator Alvan Gatitu has announced the passing of his mother, Agnes Gatitu, who died on Wednesday, March 18, 2026.

In an social media post, Alvan shared the news of his mother’s passing, revealing that she departed at 5:50 am. “It was good morning here on earth at 5:50 am and good morning forever for mom today,” he wrote. “Our hearts are forever scarred. Mommy, the Lord is your shepherd now forever.“

Days before her passing, he had shared with his followers that his mother was unwell and admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). He appealed for prayers and support.

“Hello good people. Mom has been unwell and critical for the last few days now in the ICU,” he posted prior to her death. “Thank you for all those who have been standing with us in prayer. Tuendelee kuombea mama gavement. Your support and prayers are deeply appreciated.”
