PATRICIA KIHORO AND ANNE KANSIIME NOMINATED FOR NICKELODEON KIDS’ CHOICE AWARDS

Superstar, Chance the Rapper is set to host Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards 2020, from The Forum in Inglewood, California; the biggest and slimiest awards show where kids are in control.

The four prominent stars that have been nominated to represent Africa in the Favourite African Star category, include:  Patricia Kihoro  a singer, actress, radio presenter, event host, moderator, digital content creator and improv comedian from Kenya.

Shekhinah a Pop/R&B vocalist and songwriter born in Durban, South Africa, Teni a singer, songwriter, performer, actress and social media sensation born in Nigeria, and Sho Madjozi a rapper and songwriter born in Limpopo, South Africa.

Sho Madjozi is also nominated in the Global Music Star category, representing African music alongside fellow nominees: BTS, Dua Lipa, J Balvin, Rosalía, Taylor Swift, Tones and I.

Giving a nod to the prevalence of social media and content creators on the continent, the Favourite African Social Media Star category includes: Anne Kansiime, DJ Cuppy, Chané and Prev Reddy.

This year’s nominees, was announced by Annie LeBlanc and her sister Hayley.
