ACTRESS WAKIO MZENGE NOMINATED FOR THE PRESTIGIOUS VOICE ARTS AWARDS

Kenyan actress Wakio Mzenge has been nominated for Society of Voice Arts And Sciences (SOVAS) Awards.

Mzenge is nominated for her performance in This is a True Story film directed by Faisal Sethi. “I’m just in awe!!! Look at the SOVAS nominees this year. Different categories, but yooooo… Mama I made it!” She wrote on X formerly Twitter.

Wakio added, “My very first global award and I can’t keep calm. When I was told about this animation project, I was very hesitant because “I am not good at animations”, I told myself but as God would have it this was a first-of-its-kind video game that gives you a unique gaming experience…somewhere between a narrative puzzle and educational game based on real events and interviews.

 The winners of the 10th Anniversary Voice Arts Awards will be announced on December 10, 2023 at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California.
