NANDY ISSUES AN APOLOGY OVER RACY VIDEOS AFTER BEING SUMMONED BY BASATA

Tanzanian musician Nandy got into trouble for promoting her latest song Acha Lizame featuring Hermonize with raunchy videos and photos.

The musician was summoned but Tanzanian film regulatory body Baraza la Sanaa la Taifa (BASATA) and asked for forgiveness. “My name is Nandy a bongo flava artist I would like to apologise to my fans, parents, society, the government and to all the people who follow my music.

I was promoting my song and we posted racy videos and photos. I’m from BASATA and they have counseled and advised me, as young guys we forget. I will not repeat it again, I love you all.”

BASATA also released a statement, “Bongo Fleva music artiste Faustina Mfinanga (Nandy) apologises to Tanzanians for violating values of art works in social media.”
