I WAS BULLIED A LOT IN SCHOOL-TEACHER WANJIKU

She maybe one of the country’s top comedian but Teacher Wanjiku’s life wasn’t always so sweet.

The comedian opens up about her real-life mean girls’ experience, “I used to be bullied a lot in school because my legs are bow. No wonder I wear short things. I have grown to embrace them. Ningesema tu thanks aki sisi wakenya tho!”

She also talked about being discouraged to join comedy, “Especially for the brand Teacher Wanjiku, they said it wouldn’t last. A decade later still here.”

Teacher Wanjiku says her lowest moment in life was when her show was cancelled and she became a laughing stock, “Career-wise yes, when my show was cancelled a decade ago. I was a laughing stock back then. I am here now grateful and happy that it made me stronger.”
