‘I’M TIRED OF GETTING BODY SHAMED’ SAYS SONKO’S DAUGHTER SANDRA MBUVI

Former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko’s daughter Sandra Mbuvi has decried body shamming by bravely talking about her experience. 

Through her social media page, the beauty told off body shammers stating that it makes no sense to body shame others to build oneself. “Yes I have stretch marks, yes my thighs touch, yes my tummy jiggles, and yes I’m beautiful, judging a person does not define who they are it defines who you are.

Be proud of who you are and not ashamed of how someone else sees you, no more body shaming! Big or small, short or tall none of us are beautiful if we tear others down to build ourselves. I’m tired of getting body shamed,” wrote Sandra. 

These claims came a month after her father, Sonko, marked her birthday with a hearty message he shared on his social media pages. 

In the message, Sonko heaped praises on her daughter saying that she has turned out to be an intelligent, fun and caring person with a lot going on under her care. “To my loving daughter Sandra: With each birthday that passes, you amaze me more and more.

You have turned out to be such an intelligent, fun, and caring person who has so much going on for them in life. I’m excited to see what the future holds for you. Happy birthday my darling daughter, I love you always,” wrote Sonko.
