BAHATI ADVERTISES NEW ALBUM IN NEW YORK TIMES SQUARE

Musician Kevin Kioko, alias Bahati is taking his music to a whole new level. The musician bought an advertising space for his Love Like This album in New York Times Square

Through his Instagram page, Bahati shared a video of his album on the billboard, further captioning the video; “Bahati is international now. Love Like This on billboards at Times Square, New York City.” 

According to Investopedia, it costs between Sh107 million and Sh431 million a year to buy advertising space in Times Square. In contrast, a Times Square billboard cost for a day can start at Sh540,000 and go up to well over Sh5.4 million. Moreover, it can cost up to Sh323 million per month to advertise on Time Square’s largest billboard.

The singer launched his album in a star-studded event held at Nairobi’s Trademark Hotel. The album has a total of ten songs with features from Nadia Mukami, Jovial, Rayvanny, Jazmine and Sat 8.
