CAROL RADULL LANDS NEW JOB AFTER RADIO AFRICA EXIT
Sports media personality Carol Radull has joined Nation Media Group just days after announcing her departure from Radio Africa’s, Kiss FM.
The celebrated sports journalist is set to host a football show on Nation FM and NTV. Reports indicated that Radull will host the show dubbed, The Game Plan alongside Roy Karuhize and Kieni Githinji. “Issa vibe! Tune in this and every Saturday from 3-6pm on Nation FM with “Great” Roy Karuhize and Kieni Githinji… Monday Nights on NTV. #TheGamePlan,” wrote Radull.
On August 1, 2021, the media personality announced her exit from Radio Africa Group where she had worked for over 21 years. In a statement, Radull spoke about her stay at the media station, noting that she was proud of the achievements she made. “31st July 2021 marks the end of a 21 year relationship. I joined the Radio Africa Group on the 8th of Aug 2000 as a news reporter and was soon promoted to be the head of News at Kiss 100,” she wrote.
Adding; “2008 I launched Radio Jambo and was the station’s first Programme Controller…In 2012 I launched the RAL Digital department (including Mpasho an exciting project back then but it wasn’t exactly my cuppa tea) 2016 and Bamba Sport was born.”
She explained that she left because she prefers to be on air rather than working on reports and being behind the scenes, disclosing that she has not been on air for a year. “While I respect all the opportunities I got at Radio Africa; most of them management opportunities; I never believed I was designed to push papers and write reports. I haven’t been on radio for a year and a half for reasons I choose not to share but in two weeks times I will be back on your airwaves.”
