‘I HAVE NEVER MET MY DAD’ ACTRESS BRIDGET SHIGHADI TALKS ABOUT BEING RAISED BY A SINGLE MOTHER

Popular actress Bridget Shighadi has clarified her relationship with actor Nick Mutuma whom he is mostly referred to her baby daddy. The actress said that they have been together for over three years, maintaining that their relationship is official. “He has already paid fine for the baby, so we are just waiting for the dowry payment although we are not in a hurry, we’re taking it a day at a time,” said Bridget. 

She also spoke on claims that her and Mutuma agreed not to play kissing roles on TV, “It is something he has brought up before and I asked him if he was saying that because I went into acting. I don’t want to do it because I’m not comfortable doing it and I told him, but you never know I might get an international role and I don’t think I’ll say no but locally don’t expect me to do such a thing,” she said. 

On being raised by a single mother, Bridget said her mother struggled to provide for her and her sisters, further disclosing that she has never met her dad. “It has been hard, especially to my elder sisters but they did a lot to make it easy for me but life has not been easy for my mum but she honestly she gave us the best,” she said. “I have never met my dad but I hear his stories from my mother. I have never asked if he has ever tried to reach out because there’s nothing I’ve ever missed, my mother provided everything.”
