JALANG’O ISSUES STATEMENT AFTER MTUMBA MAN’S FAKE PROMISES COMMENT

By  |

Comedian Jalang’o was forced to issue a statement after internet sensation Sande Mayau aka Mtumba Man claimed he was given empty promises by people who promised to support him. In an Instagram live session, Mtumba Man said most of the promises made have not been fulfilled including a five-year deal with Devine Collections and 6-month rent from aspiring politician Alinur Mohammed

I’ll just go back to Kisumu because I don’t want to wrong anyone. The five-year deal wasn’t there, the 6-month rent from Alinur was not true and the trip to Mombasa wasn’t true. The only contract that I have and I’m not even sure if I read it was from Notify,” he said.

Mtumba Man said he tried to reach out to Alinur through Devine Collections CEO, Mercy Malili but he was ignored.  Moments after the Instagram live session, Mtumba Man issued a contradictory statement claiming that it was a confusion with the management and he is on good terms with his sponsors. “I want to clarify something that went wrong on my live video. There has been a confusion on my management, I’m at work at Devine and everything is good. They gave me shelter, food, clothes and paid me. All is well. The few challenges that I had around shall be fixed,” he wrote.

The new development sparked reactions forcing Jalang’o who played a role in getting him the deals to issue a statement. “I really do understand him but all will be well. Everything that I promised him on my show he got, Odi Bets got him the Sh50,000 Notify logistics got him Sh50,000 and had his 2 bales on their shelves , Best Mutumba got him 2 bales worth Sh50,000, Devine collection got him a house and Sh50,000 for his settling in Nairobi, I think its just the contract that is waiting but I know Mercy will make that happen. Trip he can go anytime only that I don’t think he need one right now but if he so wishes he can always travel

I think what is frustrating him now is how his phone that was ringing all the time now is silent. I just want to kindly ask anyone who promised him anything and has not delivered please do. One thing I know is that people also quickly move on from one trend to another but all will be fine. I’ll call him and help him where I can. I know his people back in the village now know that he is a millionaire so I can Imagine the pressure. Don’t worry mtumba man, all will be well.”
