SAUTI SOL TO EMBARK ON INDIVIDUAL JOURNEYS AHEAD OF NEW ALBUM RELEASE

Sauti Sol has issued a statement after their first performance following the COVID-19 pandemic that saw some of their shows postponed and others cancelled. In a statement dubbed, Open Letter to Our Fans, the band thanked those who attended their international residency which was held in the UK. “After two long years and several postponements due to COVID-19, we are finally at our first international residency in the UK and the fans brought that iconic Sauti Sol love and energy. We are immensely thankful,” read the statement. 

The band noted that the tour marked the beginning of a journey which they will be showcasing their personal strengths and characters. “The tour is the beginning of our journey being ‘Alone Together’. It is a wonderful journey in which we are self-actualising by showcasing our personal strengths and characters as the artists who came together to form Sauti Sol,” the statement further read. 

Sauti Sol further noted that they are set to embark on their individual journeys as entertainers with both Bien-Aime, Savara, Chimano and Polycarp set to release individual projects. “Bald Men Love Better collaborative project between Bien and Aaron Rimbui, Father Studies by Fancy Fingers, Heavy is The Crown by Chimano and Savage Level by Savara will be released. These are masterfully crafted musical and visual works that are sincere representations of us as world class artists,” Sauti Sol announced. They further disclosed that they are set to release their next album in May 2022.
