GRAND LITTLE LIE: ABEL MUTUA & PHILIP KARANJA TAKE TO THE STREETS TO MARKET THEIR NEW FILM

Filmmakers Abel Mutua and Philip Karanja of Phil It Productions launched their much anticipated film dubbed, Grand Little Lie (GLL) that has since attracted immense support. 

The duo have been leading a campaign to popularize the film, a move that has been interpreted as creative and comical at the same time. On Thursday, October 7, the content creator alongside producer Philip Karanja and videographer Spikes held placards along Nairobi roads urging Kenyans to support their film. On one of their placards, the team wrote, “Please buy our film. Inaongeza urembo na nguvu za kiume (It adds beauty and enhances masculine power).” 

Grand Little Lie tells a story about Joe, a people-pleaser, tells a small lie to his boss in order to please his girlfriend, however, the lie eventually blows up to magnitudes of biblical proportions. The film features a top actors including Catherine Kamau, alias Kate Actress, Bilal Mwaura, Nyokabi Macharia, Michael Munyoki, alias Smallz and Mercy Mutisya. You can buy the film by clicking the link: https://www.philittv.com
