‘I’VE WORKED WITH BEST FEMALE ARTISTES AND THEY HAVE NEVER BEEN IGNORANT LIKE YOU’ WILLY PAUL BLASTS SANAIPEI TANDE

Musician Willy Paul has taken a swipe at singer Sanaipei Tande following her recent remarks on why she denied him a collaboration. Speaking in a radio interview, Sanaipei disclosed that she vehemently refused to work with Willy Paul saying she prides herself in her work and she does not release music just for the sake. 

She added that she considers discipline as the first thing before collaborating with an artiste. “I don’t do publicity stunts and I always do music that is relevant to people. I don’t follow the crowd as well. First, content and talent. And how you carry yourself around people is also a determination,” Sanaipei said. Adding, “Willy Paul asked for a collabo privately and I responded privately, so if he did not understand, then he has a problem but I have already decided and so my no should be respected,” she maintained.  

Reacting to her remarks, Willy Paul shared a video of the radio interview accusing Sanaipei of having an attitude, “This is the kind of attitude that makes husbands abandon their wives. I grew up listening to her, she was among the top on my favorite musicians list but this interview has hurt me a lot. Being someone’s fan almost all my life and then this is how he is talking about me? Yes, I’m not perfect but I’ve never wronged you. After watching this clip, I feel you have a lot of hatred towards me,” Willy Paul wrote in part. 

The Saldido Records CEO went ahead to say that he has worked with female artistes who are much bigger than Sanaipei and they have never been ignorant like her. “What wrong have I ever done to you? I’ve worked with the best female artists in the world and they have never been ignorant like you. I’ve worked with Alaine, Nandy, Size 8 and they’re much bigger than you. I just wanted a taste of your voice on #theafricanexperiencealbum because I believe you’re very talented,” Willy Paul added.
