GOVERNOR ALFRED MUTUA ORDERED TO RETURN 1800 COMPANY SHARES HE HAD TRANSFERRED TO LILIAN NG’ANG’A
Former Machakos first lady Lilian Ng’ang’a is celebrating after winning a property case with her ex Governor Alfred Mutua and his sister Ann Mutua.
In documents shared by Lilian Ng’ang’a, the Registrar of Companies revoked the transfer of Ndash Enterprises to Alfred Mutua’s sister Anne. “The fraudulent transfer of my 1800 shares by Alfred to his sister Ann via lawyer BM Musau was reversed by the Registrar of Companies on 06.05.2022, after my complaint in November, 2021. Ndash Enterprises Ltd (A&L Hotel mother company) reverts to 50/50 shareholding as shown in the CR12 printed on 09.05.2022.” she posted.
Ng’ang’a had complained to the registrar of companies that following their separation, the governor had allegedly reallocated 1800 shares she owned at Ndash enterprises. A letter from the registrar of companies says that its investigation showed that Lilian did not consent to the transfer of the shares.
“The registrar finds that there is a reason to invoke the provisions of section 862 of the companies Act 2015, and thereby notifies the parties that the impugned changes have been expunged from the register and the ownership of the company restored to the shareholding prior to the changes lodged with the registrar on August 11, 2021,” the letter reads.
Last year, Lilian accused Governor Mutua of fraudulently transferring her shares of the company to his sister and taking her motor vehicle. “Without my knowledge or consent and using a spare key which he had illegally obtained, he drove away my personal motor vehicle and proceeded to fraudulently transfer the ownership of the car in the logbook into his name, and thereafter sold the vehicle to a third party,” she said.
