CHANTELLE PETIT SHARES NEAR-DEATH EXPERIENCE

Digital creator Chantelle Petit, has narrated an ordeal that nearly claimed her life minutes after giving birth. 

In a TikTok video, Chantelle shared her near-death experience following the birth of her child, “I feel like there is no enough awareness about the other side of childbirth. The information online is highly romanticised, just showing the beautiful parts of motherhood. When I was giving birth to my daughter, I watched a lot of videos just to prepare myself and none of it prepared me for what I was about to experience.

I almost ascended to the other realm. Immediately after I gave birth, they removed my baby, she had her own complications, she didn’t cry. When they established that there was a tear they were like we have to stitch immediately, an anaesthesiologist came and injected me and I  blackout. They did the procedure. I remember I woke up at some point in the middle of the procedure. I asked about my baby, and I was told she is okay.” 

Chantelle the blacked out for the second time and saw a bright light, “After a period of time everything became black. I woke up in this really black place and there was a dot like a very bright light in the far distance and it was so attractive to me. I started walking towards it. It felt peaceful and made me feel calm. As I was walking towards the dot, the bright dot became like a portal. As I was getting ready to enter the bright light, something tapped my shoulder. When I turned around I was confused because I’m like, how am I talking to myself? It was another me.

The other me was very upset and she was like, ‘Chantelle you need to wake up, don’t enter that light’ I was like I want to go there. The other Chantelle started yelling at me, ‘remember you have a baby. You have to wake up.’ Then it hit me. I was like, Oh my gosh, I’m dying? I immediately woke up. The realisation that I was actually about to step into the light really freaked me out for a very long time.”
