RISPER FAITH TALKS ABOUT HER NEAR-DEATH EXPERIENCE

By  |

Socialite Risper Faith has narrated how on her first day in Nairobi she almost got kidnapped and killed during a night out with her friends.

Risper was living with her sister in Eldoret and was hoping to transfer to a school in Nairobi. So she came with her friend Charlotte and upon their arrival, they found their other friend who was to host her and had recently given birth was a little down so they decided to go to a club to help her forget her troubles. They didn’t have money but had hatched a plan to have men at the club buy them drinks.

Ripser through her dancing and short dress she attracted a few men and one in particular with dreadlocks and who pursued her, “He walked up to me and told me the club was noisy so we stepped outside to talk. When I went out, he asked my name and I told him, then he said he had a few errands he needed to do so I should take him and he’d bring me back to join my friends and he will get them and I a whole bottle of alcohol.” She went back and told her friends and they encouraged her to go with him.

They got in the car together with his sister and while in the car the man became naughty, trying to pull her dress up and when she tried to stop him he’d softly hit her hand. Risper also noticed a room card to a guest house in the car and she sensed something off. They got to the guest house and the two siblings got off the car and she was left alone in the car, “I thought to my self that man was going to rape me and he was going to do so with his sister.

She decided to run and she saw the man in his car following her. Luckily she saw a group of boda boda riders and asked them for help, “He got to where I was and got off the car mad. He started pulling my hair and the boda boda guys asked him why he was treating me like that and the guy said I was his wife and I had run away and left the kids to go and drink and that I had become a drunkard. He simply wanted me to go back and take care of the kids.” The boda boda riders opted to stay out of it, they were made to believe it was marital issues. “I screamed and told the motorbike people I didn’t know him, and asked them to ask him my name, he started blurting out names. His ‘sister’ even supported him.”

Luckily there was a police patrol around and she explained the situation to them. The man then start to hide his face and the police recognised him as a wanted murderer, “The police asked him, aren’t you the man we’ve been looking for. You’re the killer we’ve been looking for. They asked me to get into the police car and they went to check his car and they found a machete and a gun in the car boot. They told me I was lucky they found me.” Her thoughts were all over the place that night from shock so she couldn’t even remember any contacts, she spent the night at the police station. Her sister’s boyfriend picked her up the next day.
