NAIROBI TO HOST AFRICA’S NEXT SUPER MODEL 2023
In an electrifying fusion of fashion, culture and talent, Africa’s Next Super Model 2023 is set to captivate audiences on October 28, 2023, at the iconic Radisson Blu Hotel in Upper Hill, Nairobi; the event promises to be a spectacle like no other, bringing together the finest models and designers from across the African continent.
Africa’s Next Super Model is more than just a runway show, it is a celebration of African diversity and creativity. With models hailing from every corner of Africa, including the Kakuma refugee camp and other East African camps, the event showcases the continent’s rich tapestry of talent.
Joan Okorodudu, the CEO of Isis Models International, an agency that identifies, develops, and sustains the careers of beautiful black models, shared her excitement about this year’s competition. “Over 31 agents have already registered for Africa’s Next Super Model 2023, with participants representing not only Kenya but also Nigeria, South Africa, Ethiopia, Rwanda, Burundi, and Uganda.”
Top 20 models will have the opportunity to shine on the runway. Joan confirmed that the best contestant at Africa’s Next Super Model 2023 will walk away with a whopping Sh738,000 ($5,000) cash prize.
The inaugural edition of Africa’s Next Super Model took place in Kigali, Rwanda, in November 2022, setting the stage for the continued success and growth of this prestigious modelling competition.
