Diamond Platnumz Confirms Zuchu is Pregnant with His Child After Divorce Announcement

Tanzanian music superstar Diamond Platnumz has confirmed that his estranged wife and fellow singer Zuchu is pregnant with his child, just weeks after the couple announced they were separating and heading for divorce.

The Bongo Flava hitmaker took to social media to share maternity photos of Zuchu, captioning the post with a announcement: “New heart beats in the Family 🐣🍼👼💙“ . The images show Zuchu gently cradling a visible baby bump, surrounded by baby items including tiny booties and a plush toy, with pink and blue hair rollers adding a playful touch to the carefully styled shoot . Zuchu also shared the happy news with her fans, writing: “Growing Love and Eating for Two, pls be a chubby baby 🤣💕💙“

The announcement comes as a shock to many, given that just weeks earlier, the “Sukari” hitmaker had publicly confirmed that she and Diamond were separated and going through a divorce. Taking to social media, Zuchu had written, “Hello my GPG, mimi na aliekua mwenzangu we are now separated and going through a divorce. I announce this with a heavy heart. After 6 years of being together I have finally decided to choose myself. Namtakia aliekua Mwenzangu Naseeb Abdul na Familia yake kila la kheri. Kenyan businesswoman and musician Akothee shared her excitement, writing: “Alllililili Congratulations new Daddy in Town ❤️ Congratulations to new Mommy in town @officialzuchu. karibuni nyote kwenye safari ya Uzazi Congratulations ❤️“

Prior to marrying Zuchu, Diamond had high-profile relationships with Ugandan businesswoman Zari Hassan, Tanzanian model Hamisa Mobetto, and Kenyan singer Tanasha Donna, with whom he shares four children.
