Court Grants Rama Oluoch joint custody of his two sons

Digital creator Rama Oluoch has publicly confirmed that he has been granted joint legal and physical custody of his two sons, following a lengthy legal process. In a series of social media posts, Oluoch addressed his critics and celebrated his victory.

In his statement, hereminded those who doubted the legal system that his persistence has paid off. “PSA I just want to remind everyone who told me courts don’t work that despite delays & intentional sabotage, I have joint legal & physical custody of my kids cos I fought for them,” he said.

He added that while he could have chosen to walk away, he remained committed to his responsibilities. “I could’ve walked away into the sunset with a new baddie but I understand what loyalty & adulting is. Tuheshimu sheria tusipelekwe civil jail please 😊.”

To illustrate his dedication, Oluoch shared an image of a PC station he built for his children. “This is a pic of the PC station I built for them. They have used it for only 2 weeks since September 2023,” he noted.

Oluoch also addressed the emotional toll of his legal battle, questioning why he should be congratulated for simply wanting to be a parent. “My critics wouldn’t call me bitter if I didn’t feel silly being congratulated for fighting for my sons when my inner voice goes, ‘Why should a parent even fight to have time with their kids?‘”

He extended well-wishes to his ex-partner, Shiko Nguru, and her new partner, stating, “I am happy for Shiko Nguru and her new man, they deserve each other (regardless of how you think this sounds).“

He said his desire to remain an active father to his sons, Lamu and Tawi. “I have only ever just wanted to continue being a father to Lamu and Tawi. I’m already barred from having communication with their sister. I’m sure if you ask them, they would want to spend more time with me too.”

The digital creator also called for maturity in co-parenting, urging parents not to involve children in adult conflicts. “If you coach them, well… they pretend it doesn’t matter. Kids are smart though… We should be better examples with/on off our platforms.”

He dismissed those who have attempted to shame him. “Being a deadbeat is easy. You think you can shame me with names when I could be in Naivasha in a German car parked in the bush, me in the crowd… catching a wine like the world is ending? I’d like to tell everyone who ever talked 💩 about me, when I’m fighting for my boys YOU DON’T MATTER. Cancel me Todaaaayyyyy 😂😂😂😂. Matusi yakiisha bado niko single mie.
