‘I DIDN’T KNOW HE WAS MARRIED’ SINGER MARYA TALKS DATING AND FAKE FRIENDS

Musician Marya has talked about her most recent scandal where she was out for going out with a married man. Speaking in a recent TV interview, the mother of one accused her friends of orchestrating the exposé.

Marya, however, noted that the scandal taught her a lesson of the kind of friends she hanging around with.”I learnt a lesson with friends because these were people who were in my circle and they were my friends. Those photos that came out were photos that I was sharing with someone that I thought was in a relationship with. They borrowed my phone and when they saw the photos they took advantage and sent it to themselves because I was also surprised how the photos came out. I did not know he was married.” she said. 

Marya added that following the exposé, she made new friends who have had a positive impact on her life. “I’ve learnt my lesson with friends, I’ve learnt that my own company is the best. After the scandal I had people who really wanted to walk with me and I changed my surroundings,” she added. 

Her biggest regret is not listening to older artistes, “There are big artistes before me who tried to advise me but I never listened, if I can go back I will save money. I had bad company and I was hard headed.”
