DAVIDO AND CHIOMA REPORTEDLY WELCOME TWINS

Nigerian superstar David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has reportedly welcomed twins with his wife, Chioma Rowland, in the United States on Tuesday, October 10, 2023.

Kemi Olunloyo a Nigerian journalist broke the news on her popular Facebook page Kemi Talks, “After a year of anxiety and depression after losing her only child and unable to conceive while dealing with mental health issues, stray side chicks and Davido drama, Chioma Adeleke went through a successful fertility treatment and delivered Twins reportedly at Grady Hospital  a prominent Atlanta, Georgia teaching hospital last night.

The Adeleke’s welcomed a boy and a girl obo Jr 2 and Chioma Jr weighed in at approximately 5 pounds each. Very healthy. Chioma has been on bed rest for the past 90 days. The babies were born by Cesarean section at 38 weeks. Davido wasn’t planning to announce yet. I’ve made it official.” 

Davido and Chioma have yet to make the announcement. In April 2023, Davido spoke to CNN about the loss of his son and said he had to be strong for his wife. “Before my son passed, we had finished the album. Obviously it was a tragic situation but I had to be strong for everybody, not only my wife but my dad and my family. I knew at the end of the day people would want Davido to be on stage again. I really had to calm myself down and take a step back, it showed that I was really born to do this.” he explained.

He credited his return to the music scene to the overwhelming support he received from his fans. “This situation would break anybody. I don’t know how talented you are. Me and Chioma didn’t deserve that. Personally, the support I got from people was one of the things that helped me stand up again. At some point, I couldn’t open my Instagram for weeks. One day, I just checked it and I saw messages from every kind of person in the world, from politicians to sportsmen, to other musicians, to presidents. That was one thing that really made me strong enough to stand up again, get back in the studio and do what I love.”
