Comedian MCA Tricky Officially Registered as an Engineer by EBK
Comedian and former radio presenter Francis Munyao, popularly known as MCA Tricky, has officially received his Certificate of Registration from the Engineers Board of Kenya (EBK).
The comedian, who recently parted ways with Mediamax Network after six years at Milele FM, shared the news on his social media platforms, posting photographs from his visit to the EBK offices. “It was a great honour to receive my Engineers Board of Kenya (EBK) Certificate of Registration. Grateful to CPA Tony Kibet, Manager Communications Ruth Kwamboka, and Senior Officer Mr. Mumo for the warm welcome at your offices,” wrote MCA Tricky. He added: “We’re cruising nicely. 👌🏽 #CreativeEngineer #EngineeringKenya“
MCA Tricky’s journey into engineering has run parallel to his entertainment career. He graduated from Kenyatta University in December 2019 with a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree before pursuing further studies in Mechatronics Engineering at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) .
The Engineers Board of Kenya is the statutory body responsible for registering engineers, regulating professional engineering services, setting engineering standards and overseeing compliance within the profession.
