Vera Sidika Dismisses Sh375K Auction Reports as Fake News
Socialite and businesswoman Vera Sidika has dismissed reports claiming she is facing auction over an unpaid invoice of KSh 375,652, calling the allegations as fake news.
In a series of posts on her social media platforms, Sidika denied the reports, “Na where exactly is this taking place??? Sina clue btw. Is it at My main mansion in Nairobi or the apartment in Nairobi or the apartment in Mombasa. Which one? 😂😂😂” she wrote.
She further stated that she is currently in Mombasa enjoying the beach and dared those behind the claims to wait for her return. “If it’s Nairobi I’m coming back this weekend 😂😂😂 Niko Mombasa sahii enjoying the beach tell them to wait for me. Friday I’m back 😂,” she added.
The socialite, who has been on a social media break, suggested that her absence from the public eye often triggers false narratives aimed at drawing her out. “When Vera Sidika takes a social media break, they always create FAKE news to bring me out to ashame them. Coz y’all know I will forever have RECEIPTS!!!!” she wrote.
She also dismissed any suggestion of legal trouble, stating that she has never set foot in a courtroom. “And btw, I’ve never been to court ever in my life. We jua,” she asserted.
She also took a swipe at blogger Edgar Obare, claiming he has previously been forced to apologise over false allegations about her, including claims that she was homeless. “Edgar always ends up apologising when it comes to his fake teas about me. Last year was ‘am homeless’ 😭😭 he cried through his nose. When he saw my mansion. It’s literally something every time I’m mute & lowkey working on big projects,” she said.
Sidika called on those who have information about the alleged auction to send her details, insisting she is unaware of any such proceeding. “Sasa, hii story imeanzia wapi ata coz I’m not even aware! I don’t know what receipts to give 🥺🥺 Mtu Atume details I ashame these DEVILS. Coz sina Telegram 💬,” she wrote.
