Celebrity pastor Robert Burale has talked about his relationship with his baby mama and how they raise their daughter together. Speaking at an interview, Burale said they agreed to co-parent for the sake of their daughter’s well-being.
“Co-parenting is very important, if you don’t do it the child will be affected and it may not appear that right now but later in life. When two bulls fight the grass is hurt so it is important to to have mutual respect and to understand that you can together because many people enjoy the intimacy but ran away from the responsibility,” he said.
Burale also discussed his plans to get married again years after separating with his ex-wife, Rozina Mwakideu. “Do I intent to get married? 150,000 percent, I’m a Luhya man and I don’t have the grace to be single. Keep your eyes open, keep your ears on the ground. You never know. Marriage is a good idea, marriage is a God idea so marriage is good,” said Burale.
He also opened up on challenges he is facing being a pastor and a divorcee,” First and foremost is the judgement I get. You get a lot of abuses, judgement, sometimes Christians can be very judgemental. Also another challenge is, after preaching there is an emptiness you feel and you want to come back home to a wife,” he stated.
Burale spoke on his lowest moments in life, revealing that he attempted to commit suicide thrice after life took a toll on him. His situation was worse to the point that he was forced to eat toothpaste for dinner. “I tried committing suicide. I tried it three times, twice in the UK and once here in Kenya. Life was hard I could not even afford three meals a day. I’ve eaten toothpaste for dinner, not for hygiene purposes. Sometimes when God wants you to go through a season he will block all the help and I thank God many people ran away from me,” he said.
