Rapper and content creator Diana Marua, alias Diana B has hit out at her critics after her debut song, Hatutaachana surpassed 1 million views on YouTube in just three days. In a social media post, Diana told off musicians who claimed she could not sing noting that they struggle to garner views that she has managed in a short period.

“They first run their mouths, then they run. Record set, 1st Kenyan female artist to hit 1 million YouTube views in 3 days. Team Diana tag any artist who has been hating but deep down in their heart they are struggling to get attention so that their songs manage to get views on my song,” she wrote.

In a separate post, the content creator disclosed that she will perform for the first time in Nakuru and later in Kisii town. “A girl with her trending hit will be performing for the very first time in Nakuru, Bahati constituency! Youth festival organized by Hon. Irene Njoki at Bahati stadium. I’m excited and I cannot wait to see y’all there. Let’s make memories because mimi na watu wa Nakuru ‘Hatutaachana’. Later in the night Kisii I will be in your town,” Diana B added.

This comes two days after Diana’s husband, Bahati revealed that it will cost event managers and promoters Sh850,000 to book his wife for a performance. “A normal appearance when she is called to appear as a vlogger is Sh500,000, so the management rated her at around Sh850,000 per show,” Bahati announced.
