WILLY PAUL TO VIE FOR MATHARE PARLIAMENTARY SEAT IN 2022

Singer Willy Paul has announced plans to vie for an elective seat in the 2022 General Elections. Through his social media pages, the singer disclosed that he is planning to vie for Mathare parliamentary seat. In his announcement, Willy promised to deliver change to the people of Mathare if he ascends to power. “Are you ready Mathare? Let’s bring that change,” he said. 

Willy will be seeking to oust the current Member of Parliament Anthony Oluoch who was elected in 2017 on an ODM party. Pozze is yet to declare the party he will use to contest for the seat.

Willy joins a list of celebrities who have declared interest in several elective seats in the country, ahead of the August polls. Some of them include Jalang’o who is eyeing the Lang’ata parliamentary seat, MC Jessy (South Imenti seat), Stephen Kasolo (Mulango Ward in Kitui County).
