FORMER MISS UNIVERSE KENYA RACHEL MBUKI TO HOST HAPA AWARDS

Los Angeles based former Miss Universe Kenya, Rachel Mbuki Litvishkova has been announced as one of the two hosts for this year’s Hollywood and African Prestigious Awards (HAPA) alongside legendary American actor, Darius McCrary known for his role as Edward “Eddie” Winslow on Family Matters.

Dubbed The Best American Royal Experience, the 6th Edition of the HAPAwards returns with the theme Connecting Black Excellence Globally on Saturday, October 29 at the historical Ambassador Auditorium, in Pasadena, California. 

The Kenya consulate in LA has also partnered with the award for the 2022 edition to provide event coverage for Kenya & the East Africa region but for linkages in capacity building, collaborations and high-level networking opportunities and branding by placing people, products, branding and key positioning of Kenya.

HAPAwards is one of the most attended awards shows in the Hollywood calendar. The award ceremony has honoured American and African community leaders, international political figures, dignitaries, celebrities, and stars who are pioneers in motion pictures, arts, music, and comedy. As an organization bound to celebrate the outstanding achievements of artists in various entertainment genres, their vision is to continue blending cultures and promoting the beauty and richness of Africa and America while spreading peace throughout the world.
