CHAMELEONE TO PAY $2,000 MONTHLY CHILD SUPPORT AS HE AND WIFE DANIELLA AGREE TO DIVORCE
Ugandan musician Joseph Mayanja popularly known as Jose Chameleone and his wife Daniella Atim have formally agreed to end their marriage following more than five years of living apart.
The agreement was reached through court-ordered mediation led by Justice Jane Okuo Kajuga. It now awaits her official approval before being finalised.
Under the terms of the agreement, Daniella will retain full custody of the couple’s five children Abba, Alpha, Amma, Alba and Xara Mayanja. Chameleone has been granted visitation rights.

The singer has also agreed to pay $2,000 (approximately 260,000 Kenyan Shillings) per month in child support to cover education, healthcare and general welfare expenses for the children.
The issue of marital property remains unresolved and will be determined separately by the Family Division of the High Court. Through her lawyers, Wamimbi Advocates and Solicitors, Atim stated that she experienced emotional trauma during the marriage as a result of Chameleone’s actions, including a lack of love, affection, compassion, and empathy, which she says left her depressed.
The couple married in June 2008 at St. James Catholic Parish in Kampala in a lavish ceremony attended by celebrities, politicians, and public figures.
