I LOST MY FATHER AND BROTHER TO CANCER OPENS UP CAROL RADULL

By  |

Radio personality Carol Radull opened up about how she lost her family members to cancer.

In an interview Radull said, “There was a time in the 90s that we almost lost a lot of our money, it is the same time that my younger brother got cancer and it drained us.

It was exactly seven months from the time he was diagnosed to the time he passed away; my mom took it the hardest.

I also lost my dad to prostate cancer his was slightly better, it was caught early and he had 10 years to live.”

After her divorce with husband Mike Njiru, Radull says she is now dating. “I am dating not that it’s anybody’s business, and it is not the guy who wanted to share my salary.”

She says she is willing to share her salary with the right person, “I think all those women who think it’s a man’s role thing to do everything financially in the house for me that’s nonsense. In this day and age, we both work and have businesses so we have to help each other.”

Talking about the wedding she said not yet, “One, I have not been asked, I cannot assume I am getting married and I have not been asked. I was married for seven years and it was a great six years and one year was a bit rough, having been in the institution of marriage is not something you jump in easily again.

There are lessons I learned; I will never say anything negative about my ex-husband. I believe he was a good man but things just changed.

She also talked about divorce stigma, “It is not a cheap decision you make; you give it a lot of thought, you try and even after making the decision to go through with it is not easy. You always ask yourself is there something you could have done; it actually hurts when someone be little’s it.”
