BURNA BOY, LUPITA AND SHO MADJOZI NOMINATED FOR BET AWARDS

BET has announced this year’s nominees and leading the pack is Drake with six nomination for Best Male Hip Hop Artist, Video of the Year, and two nods for both Best Collaboration and Viewer’s Choice.

Megan Thee Stallion and Roddy Ricch took the second spot with five nominations each.

For the converted Best International Act, Nigerian musician Burna Boy will battle with Innoss’b from DRC, South Africa’s Sho Madjozi, UK’s Dave and Stormzy, Ninho and S.pri Noir from France.

Viewers’ Choice: Best New International Act category Rema from Nigeria, Sha Sha from Zimbabwe, UK’s Celeste and Young T & Bugsey and France Hatik and Stacy are nominated.

Ciara’s song Melanin featuring Lupita, Ester Dean, City Girls and La La was nominated for Best Her Award.

Actress and comedian Amanda Seales will host the 2020 awards on June 28.
