NICK MUTUMA’S SINCERELY DAISY SET TO PREMIERE

From his directional debut “You Again” to now directing a new film, “Sincerely, Daisy“, Nick Mutuma is winning our hearts with great productions.

The film is a coming of age story through the eyes of a young Kenyan girl, Daisy played by Ella Maina. The story centres around an urban Kenyan family on issues such as timeless friendships and the reality of tough economic times.

Sincerely Daisy has a great cast with the likes of Mbeki Mwalimu, influencer Foi Wambui, Jackie Matubia, Sam Psenjen, Brian Abajah, Serah Wanjiru, Muthoni Gathecha, James Webbo and Faiz Francis Ouma.

Mutuma took to social media to make the announcement, writing, “A year ago we released the trailer for our first film You Again. Today we are proud to share with you the trailer for our new film, Sincerely Daisy. I hope that you enjoy it as much as did making it.”

The film is written by Natasha Likimani, whose other credits include Veve and TV series Mali.

Foi Wambui was just as excited, writing on her page, “Let me tell you, my excitement cannot be contained… I fell in love with this film the minute I read the script and I can’t wait for you to watch it too!”
