Sol Generation musician Bensoul has introduced his girlfriend Noni Gathoni in the latest episode of Sol Family.

Talking about their relationship, his girlfriend admitted their relationship started in the DMs, “We are actually in our first-year anniversary. We met on a night out, as usual. He was going to meet his friends who had come from Embu and I was attending my friend’s birthday.

We were talking on social media but it was nothing serious, we were just complimenting each other, the conversation wasn’t constant, like once or twice a week. We were a few shots deep me with my girlfriend the I saw someone passing behind me.

He resembled that guy I had been chatting with on social media, so I decided to say hi. I went and tapped him and we ended up having a good time that night. We talked a little bit and exchanged numbers, then I went home, he didn’t talk.

After a week that’s when he texted me, ‘I hope you got home safe’. We started meeting up and slowly the chemistry grew and we moved to the next level.”

Noni also said it is challenging dating an artiste, “When it comes to dating an artiste you have to know there is Ben and Bensoul, knowing the difference between showbiz and real life.

It’s not easy but I always tell him to forget I am in the crowd, if a dancer comes and you have to entertain people, you have to do what you have to do, it’s nothing personal but when it goes past there that where the problem is.”
