CHURCHILL NEVER PAID ME FOR THREE SEASONS WHILE WORKING FOR HIS SHOW-ERIC OMONDI

By  |

Comedian Eric Omondi has opened up about his time performing at Churchill Live. Omondi says for three seasons he worked for the show he was never paid.

This comes following accusations that Dan Ndambuki does not pay comedians, Churchill gives you a platform and I can say this with moral authority.  Honestly it something that is so annoying, its nonsense for guys to says that. A teacher will teach you and give you knowledge then you leave.

Churchill has never called anyone, most of us we go there. It’s called Churchill show, he is busy doing his show then you came and he gives you a stage to sell yourself. There was a time the comedians asked for a meeting and request me to be there and I asked them in front of Churchill if he has ever paid me, he has never for three seasons.

I didn’t want the money. By the time I was finishing the first season, I was making million doing adverts. I knew it was the number one show in the country, I was very conscious of that and I sold myself. I think need to pay Churchill.”
