‘WE HAD OUR DARK AND BROKE MOMENTS WITH ZERO CASH’ TEDD JOSIAH SHARES HIS LOVE STORY

By  |

In celebration of the Valentine’s week, veteran music producer and businessman Tedd Josiah has shared his love story with his late wife Regina Katar.

Josiah says their love was not what you see in the movies and they had their ups and downs, “Does true love exist? Yes yes yes. But love must be worked on it’s not the Hollywood fairy tales of “They fell in love and lived happily ever after!”

We had our dark moments, we had our broke moments with zero cash in our pockets, we had our dreams that found us rummaging through stuff in Kikomba at 6am and turning our living room into a tailoring room while she stitched and designed clothes and I marketed them and did the photography.

All we had was cash enough for sukuma and eggs some days we could afford chicken. When we planned Jay, I had to take up a job training media teams on production while she took bed rest and focused on getting ready for Jay Jay.

Our journey was not just roses and chocolates it was a real life experience of having to survive, to grow a baby in your tummy, to dash to Sanford for chips at 8pm because she’d kill me if they were from anywhere else.

I think real love is more about kindred spirits connecting, friendship and something I can’t put my finger on but it’s not Hollywood and this is why I could give up my music career for our dreams. Because our dreams became bigger than my dreams. Live love laugh #RaisingJay #TheManMom”
