TAHIDI HIGH’S TEACHER KILUNDA RELOCATES TO KANGUNDO

By  |

Tahidi High actor Ted Kitana famously known as Teacher Kilunda has relocated to Kangundo, Machakos County and is not planning to come back to Nairobi.

The 43-year-old actor says he was locked out of the city during last year’s lockdown and realised the rural life was better for him, “After Tahidi I have done very few things, covid is the worst thing that has happened to artistes. We could not assemble or be in the same place and too many artistes that was a source of their income. The industry in Kenya had really changed, people were earning good salaries.

When the lockdown happened, I was stuck in Kangundo, at first, I didn’t know how to deal with the people here because I lived in the city. Slowly by slowly I realised it is a good life. The air and food is fresh and there is no pressure.

I don’t plan on going back to the city, I have everything I need here.  If an opportunity presents itself, I will go but I have not been actively looking for roles. For those who have a role for me they can call me.”
