FEMI ONE UNVEILS HER UPCOMING ALBUM

Kaka Empire’s Femi One has unveiled her highly anticipated album. Taking to her social media platforms, the Utawezana hitmaker unveiled the album artwork captioning it ‘My album is ready! Tighten your seat belts I’m about to take you on a journey to Greatness! #greatness’.

Greatness is Femi One’s debut album, “The pride I feel about Greatness is so overwhelming that words cannot even suffice to describe what I feel. This album has been a long time coming after having quite several successful singles and an EP. I have put my whole heart into it and I am sure my fans both new and current will resonate with all the songs on so many levels. This album is a testament to the fact that I am a product of time, patience and hard work” said Femi One.

Speaking on the project, Femi One’s long-time manager and Kaka Empire Managing Partner Dennis Njenga said, “Building Femi One’s brand has not been a walk in the park, it has taken a lot of blood, sweat and hard work from the artiste herself to the management team; we are proud of this album as being her first major body of work since releasing her Extended Playlist in 2019. We thank Boomplay for partnering with us on this and look forward to more projects in the near future.’’

Greatness combines Femi One’s signature punchlines, funny nuances, thought provoking rawness with a funky new-age twist. All her songs are a labour of love for her fans; a powerful package that is set to make history. The album is scheduled for release on May 31, with a virtual live concert where she will perform alongside some amazing features from East and Central Africa.
