MUSICIAN BEN CYCO PAYS TRIBUTE TO HIS SISTER WHO SUCCUMBED TO LEUKEMIA

Gospel singer Ben Kariuki, popularly known as Ben Cyco on Tuesday, May 11 paid tribute to his sister Joy Wairuri who passed away a year ago.  According to photos shared on the singer’s Instagram page, he visited her sister’s grave in Murang’a and laid flowers on it.

He later shares the photos accompanying it with an emotional message to mark Wairuri’s one year death anniversary. Ben noted that he couldn’t believe it is a year since she left, further sending an encouragement message to those dealing with grief at the moment.

Continue resting @_fu.raha_. Can’t believe it’s already one year. I also pray for comfort and peace to anyone who is going through grief, it’s never easy, but God comforts and is closer to the brokenhearted, may His peace abound,” wrote Ben.

Wairuri, also known as Furaha took the final bow in 2020 after along battle with leukemia. Announcing her demise, Ben said; “Rest well, small sis, you fought cancer with all you had. You fought a good fight, and now we give glory to God because where you are, there’s no more suffering. I thank God for a life well-lived. I’m in tears writing this, but it is well. Rest in peace, Joy Wairuri.”
